Cat Fish (Med) 8 - Clean and cut the fish
Coconut 1/2 Cup
Dry Roast:
21 Long Red Chillies
4 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
1Tbsp Cumin Seeds
1tsp Methi
24 Pepper Corns
Grind:
Grind coconut along with 1 Big onion , 1: Ginger, 10 flakes garlic, 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder and small ball of tamarind. Now add the rosated masala and grind to fine paste.
In a cooking vessel add masala and enough water and keep for boiling, add salt and taste for the sour. If you need sourness then add 1/2tbsp vinegar. When it starts boiling add the fish and take one more boil now add 2 green chillies cut into slit, and 1/2" ginger and switch off the gas. Ready to serve with rice and dosa chapaties.
